Sleep plays a vital role in good health in your life. Getting enough sleep at right time can protect your mental as well as physical health. When you are not getting a good sleep or you are loosing sleep for several night your body and mind get suffer from it. Lack of sleep leads may also lead to micro sleep.
Micro sleep occurs when you are not getting sleep or you are awake all the time. When you not remembered the movement which happened early then you may have experience micro sleep. Micro sleep can affect you function, when you are attending a lecture and you might miss some of the information or feel like you don't understand the point in reality though you may have sleep through part of the lecture and not been aware of it.
Some people don't know the risk of sleep deficiency. They may not realise that they lack sleep even which poor quality of sleep they may think that they can function well. Eg, when driver drives he may feel that he is capable to drive yet studies have shown that sleep deficiency harms your driving ability as much ad or more than being drunk. It estimated that driver sleepiness is a factor responsible of over 1,00,000 accident per year which result about 1,500 death each year. Drivers aren't the only one affected by micro sleep . It can affect people in all lines of work including health, workers, student, lawyers etc.
As a result micro sleep is not only harmful on a personal level but it also cause huge amount of damage. It also plays role in human errors.
